Giadom have lay claim to the position with opposition from some key APC big wings
President Buhari, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo, and others held a meeting of the National Executive Council meeting of the All Progressives Congress, led by Victor Giadom, which took place at the State House Abuja.
Governors of Nasarawa, Niger, Jigawa, Plateau, Imo, Kogi, Yobe, Gombe, Osun, Ogun, Lagos, Kwara, Kebbi, Kano and Ekiti are all in attendance.
Also in attendance are Deputy Senate President, Ovie Omo-Agege; Deputy Speaker Idris Wase; House Leader, Hassan Dogowa and the Deputy Chief Whip, House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Nnenna Ukeje.
At the meeting, the National Working Committee was dissolved. This was disclosed by a presidential aide, Bashir Ahmad.

This might but to the end the much speculated rumor on who becomes the APC Chairman as the president takes a stand today.
